The Gathering of Young People (GOYP)” is a revelation from God, received by Pastor Joseph, General Overseer of Bestway International Christian Centre, in February 2017.

The GOYP vision is commissioned to fulfil three assignments:

• Encourage the generation before us
• Inspire our own generation and bring them back to God,
• Instruct and mentor the generation coming after us.

Shortly after the vision was received, dedicated discipleship classes and prayer sessions were held with young people to prepare them for the task ahead. Subsequently, annual GOYP programmes were organised by the Church and in 2021, the Church leadership dedicated the first Sundays of every month as GOYP-led services. These Sunday services were anchored by the Young People and heralded a new perspective to biblical truths.

In April 2023, by God’s divine instruction, a new chapter of the ministry began, and the GOYP was formally commissioned to begin standalone church services and programmes for the young people.

The Holy Spirit empowers the GOYP church to Restore, Nurture and Disciple God’s people.

The Gathering of Young People (GOYP) is a branch of Bestway International Christian Centre (BICC).

At GOYP, leadership means service. Our team is made up of dedicated, Spirit-led individuals who have a heart for God and a love for people.

• We believe the Bible to be the inspired, the only infallible, authoritative Word of God.
• We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit.
• We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ.
• We believe God offers eternal life as a free gift and that it must be received by faith through God’s grace alone.
